Clovis Outdoors is a small family owned business hoping to bridge the gap between great small businesses and those who need great products to enjoy the outdoors.
Clovis Outdoors is founded under a simple idea; there are great products out there that don’t get the recognition they deserve. Ever run across a business and thought to yourself, “Why haven’t I heard of this before? This would be great if only more people knew about it!” I think most of us have.
Years ago I was working for a big box outdoor retailer. During that time I had many small business owners bring in prototypes and products hoping to find a way onto the shelves. Of course I was no help to them, I was just an archery tech working my way through school at the time. It takes a lot of recognition and even more money to get shelf space at a large box store. Many small businesses with fantastic products don’t get into the hands of outdoors enthusiasts simply based on there never being a connection point. I hope Clovis Outdoors can help to bridge that gap.
Here is our mission: Deliver great American made products into the hands of hunters and outdoors enthusiasts. We want to bring some of these companies in front of more eyes so that American hunters can support American small businesses while getting quality gear. We believe now more than ever supporting American small businesses is vital, so we are doing our best to support them. There are only three strict qualifications products have to meet to partner with Clovis Outdoors. The product has to be made by an American company. The product has to work. The company has to align with our principles
The principles we are building the foundation of Clovis outdoors on aren’t complicated. Simply put, we require honesty, transparency, and integrity. We hold ourselves accountable to these standards by making a commitment to conservation. 10% of all profits will be donated to conservation groups, hunter outreach charities, and other worthy causes we find centered around protecting and furthering the legacy of the American hunter.
